Grace is such a sweet, loving girl. She is still very much a playful puppy and loves toys and to play fetch. Grace is your typical GS who is always wherever you are you and lays at your feet or next to you on the couch when you watch your favorite show. She loves the outdoors and to catch the ball.
Grace’s original owners spent a lot of time and money to train her. She spent 3 weeks at a K9 training facility and learned her general obedience and then some. She excels in public places and is excellent with children.
She did live previously with a standard schnauzer brother and they got along well. However, previous to Grace coming to me she did go to one prior home for 24 hours where she was attacked by a doodle and this has given her some trust issues with other dogs. Here in my foster home she lives with my male GS and my male mini schnauzer and it has taken about a week for them to be able to get accustomed and control the growling. It will take a confident and patient adopter if there is another dog in the home with sweet Grace.
Grace is also a Houdini. She can open doors and surf a counter like a human. She absolutely knows better but is too smart for her own good.
She is truly a sweet, loving, snuggly girl with the eyes of a human and the heart of a giant. She deserves the very best.
