Why Do Rescues
Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

  • $800 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 8 weeks through year 1 (Spay/Neuter Included)
  • $600 - Dogs aged 2 years through year 3
  • $500 - Dogs aged 4 years through year 6
  • $400 - Dogs aged 7 years through year 9
  • $300 - Dogs aged 10 years and up

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Negative Heartworm
  • Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Micro-chipped
  • Other tests based on need
