HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue, Inc.

HT-Z Giant Schnauzer Rescue was founded by Carolyn Janak in 2000 in memory of Hertha Thomas-Zagari, who was an avid Giant Fancier. We are a 501 C 3 organization, and the only Giant Schnauzer Rescue that serves all 50 States.
The Hertha Thomas-Zagari Giant Schnauzer Rescue ("HT-Z") is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was founded for the rescue, screening, and placement of Giant Schnauzer dogs in suitable homes. HT-Z operates as a volunteer network of individuals and foster homes throughout the United States. HT-Z also advocates for responsible breeding and ownership of Giant Schnauzer dogs and assists owners with finding qualified resources in their area for successful Giant Schnauzer ownership.
